Senior UC Engineer – Team Lead – Charlotte, NC

Cloverhound is growing at an incredible rate and we’re looking for a Unified Communications Team Lead in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate has been working in the industry for at least 7 years and has deep knowledge in Cisco UC technologies. A CCIE Collaboration or Voice is a plus. Knowledge of scripting or programming is a big plus.

Products you should know intricately:

• Cisco Unified Communications Manager
• Cisco Unity Connection
• Cisco Unified Presence / Jabber
• Cisco Unified Contact Center Express
• Cisco Emergency Responder
• Voice Gateways (SIP, H.323, MGCP)
• UCCE / CVP is a plus
• Expressway / VCS is a plus

There are currently 3 people on the team working UC projects and you will be taking over as team lead. You will be expected to know the required products in and out, teach team members about them on a daily basis and develop best practices. Ideally you would have honed your skills in a consulting or contracting environment, where customer focus is as important as engineering skill. You will be expected to work with multiple versions of these products and be familiar with the newest bugs going around and how to mitigate them.

Cloverhound is a small startup specializing in Cisco UC and Contact Center consulting as well as building some pretty cool products in these areas. We partner with larger VARs allowing us to work on many large-scale and unique implementations. We’ve worked with several Fortune 500 companies already and continue to add more to our resume. Our goal is to build a company where talented engineers accomplish great things and have fun doing it. So far we’re having a blast and growing quickly.

We offer a competitive salary, full benefits, and stock options. The position is located in sunny Charlotte, North Carolina and requires about 35% travel nationally (and possibly internationally). Relocation is available.
